To provide training to the Government Employees at Regional level.
RPATCs usually plan and conduct numerous training courses according to the needs of regional level government employees. A total number of 29 courses to be conducted by the RPATCs in this year (2010-2011). Among the courses 13 are designed for class-I officers, 3 courses are for class-II officers, 9 courses are for class-III and 4 courses are for class-IV employees. It is expected that a total number of 1080 officials and employees will participate in the proposed training courses. Considering the demands of the present time some new issues viz. Workshop on Women and Child Rights, Seminar on Medium Term Budgetary Framework (MTBF), Training Course on Right to Information (RTI) and Computer Literacy Course for SSC Passed Class IV Employees have been designed and incorporated in the revised training calendar.
Class I, Class II officers and Class III, Class IV level staffs are being trained in these Regional Centres. There are dormitories for the trainees in all the four regional centres. Officers and staffs of all levels from Government, Semi-government, Autonomous bodies and Private organizations may be nominated or may participate in the courses either on payment or at free of cost as per decision made by the Centre. There are also facilities of transport, Auditorium and limited Commercial facilities.
