Improving Public Services through Total Quality Management (IPS-TQM)
The Improving Public Services through Total Quality Management (IPS-TQM) Project is a 5-year (2013-2018) long collaborative project of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC), its Partner Institutes (BARD, RDA, NAEM, NAPD, and NILG), and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The General Objective of this Project is to improve the quality of public services, particularly in the Field Administration and Local Governments in Bangladesh through the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Kaizen.
Project Goal: Small Improvement Projects (SIPs) are implemented in more than 12,000 Upazila Offices and Municipalities of Bangladesh every year under a Nationwide Framework of One Year - One Improvement through One Year - One Project (OYOP).
Project Purpose: Quality of public services delivered by more than 12,000 Upazila Offices and Municipalities of Bangladesh improves gradually on a continuous basis.
